Questions couples ask
Who owns Hitched?
The Knot Worldwide, the American group behind The Knot, bought Hitched from Immediate Media in February 2020. In October 2026 it also agreed a deal for Zola to join its brands.
Hitched is free. Why pay for PlanHitch?
If the free tools do everything you need, use them. PlanHitch is for couples who want more done for them: contracts read for the clauses that cost money, a planner that changes the plan when you tell it something's changed, and invitations, seating chart and table cards in one matching design.
Can I move my guest list across?
Yes. Export it from wherever it is now as a spreadsheet, and PlanHitch can import it on Premium, or you can add guests one by one on the free plan.
