How to Choose Your First Dance Song
Six tips to help you pick a song you will both love.
Choose a song that means something to both of you. It'll make the moment more emotional and authentic.
Consider the tempo: slower songs are easier to dance to if you're not confident dancers.
Think about the lyrics, and make sure they're appropriate for the moment and your guests.
Listen to the song a few times to check the length. Most first dances are 2-3 minutes; you can ask your DJ to fade out.
Practice! Even a simple sway looks better with a bit of rehearsal. Consider a few dance lessons.
Don't stress about being perfect. Your guests will be watching with love, not judgement.
